Music Can Change Everything

Did you know that many of your favorite authors create playlists to accompany their books? Through author blogs, websites such as Spotify and Playlist.com you can find a variety of soundtracks to accompany your favorite book. This past weekend I traveled to Austin, Texas to visit some family. On my way up and as I was driving through Austin, I listened to Molly McAdams’ From Ashes Playlist. As songs would play, it would bring back scenes from the book for me. By the time I got home, I was really missing Cassidy and Gage – so I read the book again for the 3rd time.  Music is made to stir the emotions, trigger memories and connect you to so much more. And what better way to enhance your book reading journey than with a little music!
