I absolutely love a good second chance romance and what better place to do that than the romantic city of Rome, Italy

I absolutely loved the visual picture this book paints of Rome and the romance of Italy. I want to book a flight now and walk the cobblestone street of the neighborhoods and take in all the culture and vitality that is Roma. The re-connection of Avery and Marcello will have you swooning and at times feel the emotions of a passionate love that one hopes to find in a lifetime, much less twice.

I can’t wait for more story’s in this series and hoping that Avery’s best friend Daisy is next in the adventures!

Playboy Pilot

Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland

18Money or love? Which would you choose?

You probably just answered the question in your head thinking it’s an easy decision.

For me, it’s not. Did I mention it’s a lot of money? A hell of a lot.

I needed to go far away to think it through.

As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation.playboypilot18

Then, he left.

I thought I’d never see him again.

But fate had other plans.

Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.

The bigger surprise was the adventure that followed after the plane landed.

Carter was dangerous and always on the move.

Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary.

He would give me tickets, and I would follow him around the world to exotic places.

A bevy of flight attendant exes and rumors about Carter’s reputation were never far behind.

I didn’t know what to believe.

But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore. And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to finally ground the playboy pilot.

At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling ride.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

Every single time I pick up a book my Kelly Elliott, I know that I will be taken on a journey that may take me on a roller coaster of emotions. Searching for Harmony did exactly that.

This journey that both Harmony and Preston take is one that pull as your heart. I laughed and cried through out the book. Kelly has a way of making you feel every part of the emotions going through her characters, so you feel invested in the story and feel as if you are living it along with them.

This book is about hope and finding love once again after you feel like your world is tilted so far there is no turning back.

Another amazingly powerful story by Kelly and that’s what makes Kelly a go to author for me.

Synister

16As I took the steps to the stage I soaked in the moment, allowing the feeling and emotion to fill the void.

synister16 I knew their love for me was only temporary, but it was enough. Enough to keep me going forward, and enough to sate any desire for permanency.

This was my reality, all I was capable of feeling. A brief encounter with a sea of nameless faces, the anonymity kept them from seeing me for who I really was at my core.

To them I was Synister Smith, and god damn it they loved me.

To See You

Rachel Blaufeld

14What is it about this guy?

On paper, he’s one hundred percent wrong for me. His e-mails are equal parts annoying and funny.

Okay, more funny than annoying. More like refreshing. Different. Exciting.

But as I stand next to him now, he’s giving me head-to-toe tingles, and I find myself dwelling on his e-mails.

This was a book of perfection. And Rachel totally blew me away with this book.

I felt like this book was a retelling of Beauty and Beast, except the beast was the one person you wouldn’t have thought of.

Layton and Charli – my heart was bleeding for both. Layton was sweet, open and vulnerable. He wasn’t your typical male hero but he possessed everything you love. Charli was exactly what you would have thought of the beautiful girl, who seems to be living the dream. Except she has a heart and a conscience that is constantly making her doubt what’s happening in her life.

You root for Layton and Charli, you’ll be charmed by both and feel the pain they go through as they work their way to happily ever after.

You can’t go wrong with a Rachel Blaufeld book and I believe this is her best book yet!

Thief

Aubrey Irons

Silas Hart takes wh13at he wants. Everything he wants.

He’s a thief. Always has been, always will be. When we were kids, he taught me how to pick locks and pockets.

And then we got older, and we learned to open doors to places we never should have gone.

Eight years ago, he stole the kisses from my lips, and I gave him everything. And then my thief stole my heart.

But he also stole a lot of money for some very bad people, and then the boy I knew disappeared.

thief13

But now we’re both back in Shelter Harbor, and Silas is no boy.

He’s a man. A hardened, cocky, demanding, very grown-up man.

A man who looks at me like he wants to steal me away again. Like he wants to take me, like he wants to make me lose my mind and scream his name. Just like I used to.

But I’m not that wide-eyed little girl anymore. He left nearly a decade ago, and I don’t give a damn what Silas Hart thinks.

There’s just one problem…

Did I mention we’re still married?

My Top 25 Books of 2013 (So Far) Part 2

A stunning second chance romance. I was so taken by this book, I absolutely could not put it down.

This book rakes you in and you just can’t put it down. Silas is the bad boy trying to do his best and Ivy is a little snobbish, but Ivy brings out the best of her.

I LOVE this and can’t wait for more! And there is the added bonus of a double epilogue that is just … sigh. A must read for sure. And the second book in the series – SINNER will be released this week.

I was so intrigued with this book and couldn’t put it down once I started.

Halo and Thomas meet when she was 15 and he was 17. From the start, he was the bad boy who only had eyes for the shy and innocent Halo. When Halo’s parents get killed in a car accident, Thomas steps up to take care of Halo and becomes her everything. But she knew from the start that Thomas was ready to leave… he was enlisting to become a Navy Seal. It was always a part of the plan and she was ok with that.

The years of deployment and being on the front lines has taken a toll on Halo and Thomas. And one day she finds that he’s no longer coming home… just when she needs him the most.

This book is full of sorrow, pain, redemption, mystery and surprises. It was a true page turner for me.

*YOU MUST READ THE OTHER BOOKS IN THIS SERIES FIRST BEFORE READING SAVE ME *

This is one of my most anticipated books for 2016 and it did not disappoint! I stayed up until 5am this morning because I just could not put this book down. Full of action, suspense, heartaches and joy – Tucker McCoy’s story is finally told, questions are answered and more questions are formed. A suspenseful tale and have you second guessing what you thought to be true and shocked when you find the truth. I LOVED THIS BOOK HARD!

Tucker McCoy along with 3 other members of his SEAL team – went on a mission for 6 years, only to come home to families that have been mourning them, thinking they had died years earlier. When McCoy comes home to see his wife and daughter, all he finds is another couple living in his house and the two most important people in his life gone. Without a trace.

After 6 months of trying to find his family who seemed to have disappeared in the middle of the night – he may finally have a lead. He now knows that they thought he was dead – so will he be able to let go – in case they have moved on?

I was heartbroken for Tucker. All he wanted was to know his wife and daughter were safe. But the more he uncovered, the less likely it seemed he was going to get his happily every after. Such a powerful and epic story. So in love with the book and series.
