It’s time for the sole sister in the family to discover love.
RT Book Reviews proclaims that the O’Brien Family series from award-winning author Cecy Robson “has the hottest brothers ever!” And in Crave Me, it’s time for the sole sister in the family to discover love.
Wren O’Brien isn’t your typical female. As the only girl from a loud Irish family with seven siblings, she prefers fast cars to lip gloss and bad boys to good men. It’s the reason she’s nursing a wounded soul and keeping her distance from a dangerous ex.
Evan Jonah is running an empire and just moved from the lavish thoroughfares of London to the gritty streets of Philadelphia. When he walks into the nearest dealership, he’s expecting to find a reliable vehicle to handle the brutal winters, not a sexy female car rep with killer legs.
Wren doesn’t know why “Hotness in a Suit” asked her out. She doesn’t expect a great
time or a night of passion that knocks her on her ass. But that’s exactly what Evan shows her.
She also never counted on how hard and fast she’d fall. But men like Evan—good men with even better hearts—don’t desire tough-talking Philly girls for long.Evan has never met a woman like Wren. But he’s up for the challenge and ready to prove her wrong.
Crave Me is the first book I’ve read from Cecy Robson and I definitely will be adding her library to my TBR.
Erin O’Brien, aka Wren, never expected Evan Jonah. The suave, handsome CEO has taken a liking to her and she has no clue why. They are total opposites, with her being from a loud Irish family and Evan coming from the posh world of London. But from the very start these two click.
Wren left an abusive relationship a little over a year ago and she’s been gun shy in getting into a new relationship. She’s not one for one-night stands and not a person who easily trusts but from the moment Evan stepped into the dealership she works at, the two of them had a certain ease that she hasn’t ever melt with anyone before. She tries to resist the pull between the two of them but caves in and goes out Evan.
Evan is in Philly to try and save his company and the last thing he was looking for is a relationship. But the moment he’s introduced to Wren, his mind can think of nothing else but her. She’s the total opposite of anyone he has ever been attracted to. She in your face, tells it like it is, gorgeous and so easy to talk with.
These two fall hard, fast. But each come with baggage from past relationships. Evan wants to be the man that Wren needs, but he must learn to balance his work life and having a relationship, not wanting to repeat the relationships of his past. Wren is dealing with a stalker, the man who abused her, and she must learn to let Evan in.
I loved the banter and ease of Evan and Wren’s relationship. Throw in Wren’s family (the brunch scene has me laughing hard) and this book is the right combination of sexy, sweet with a little suspense thrown in. I will adding the other books in the series to my TBR and can’t wait for Book 4 coming this May!
Again she crosses her legs. Again there are my eyes upon her. She raises her smooth dark eyebrows when she sees me watching her. “You like what you see?”
“Yes,” I respond, my voice lowering.
Her hand smooths across the counsel. “They come in cream and tan.”
“What?” I ask, jerking my focus between her and the road.
“The interior,” she says, tilting her chin. She laughs as my face heats. “What did you think I was talking about?”
I pretend to adjust the mirror before I end up on some “list”. “I thought you were discussing the vehicle in general.”
“No, you didn’t,” she says. She pauses as my body temperature rises several degrees. “Were you looking at my legs?”
“Yeah, you were. You were totally checking me out.”
