The first time I met Caine West was in a bar.
He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out.
When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight—telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass.
You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend–smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married.
He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he’d done.
Especially when that lazy smile graced his perfect face in response to my rant.
Only it turned out, the man I’d just told off wasn’t the right guy.
Oops. My mistake.
Embarrassed, I slunk out without an apology.
I was never going to see the handsome stranger again anyway, right?
That’s what I thought…until I walked into class the next morning.
Well, hello Professor West, I’m your new teaching assistant.
I’ll be working under you…figuratively speaking.
Although the literal interpretation might not be such a bad thing—working under Professor West.
This was going to be interesting…

The thing about Vi’s books is that once you start them, you have such a hard time putting them down. And Beautiful Mistake was another page turner for me.
Vi’s characters are sassy, sexy, straightforward, fun and flirty and they suck you in from the moment you meet them.
We meet Rachel and Caine with a bang, in a bar, where Rachel mistakens Caine for someone else. And let the fun ensue. These two have an instant connection – even with Rachel being pissed off at him. And then she finds out the next day that Mr. Adonis is the professor that she’s to TA this semester!
Caine is charming, gorgeous and total into his new TA Rachel. The sexual chemistry between these two is through the roof. But Caine is not convinced he’s the perfect guy for Rachel, since he always seems to mess things up. Rachel likes Caine A LOT, but there is always this underlying “something” there that is holding him back, but is she imagining it because of her own insecurities?
I can’t tell you much more about the book because I don’t want to spoil any bit of this brilliant book!
A definite MUST READ and will most definitely land in my top reads for the year!
