Fix My Fall by Carey Haywood

Abby Thompson’s love life is a disaster. Everyone around her is blissfully falling in love, while she’s busy binge watching anime. The last thing she needs is a walking temptation, in the form of ex-nerd turned dreamy astrophysics professor, Spencer Hill, aka her new client.
It’s her job to find Spencer his dream home, NOT fantasize about a ride on his space rocket. But the sparks between them are impossible to ignore, and soon, Abby is wondering if her losing streak in love could be turning around.
Can she get over her anxiety he’s got her out-brained, and can he let go of the past and the fear that the girl he crushed on in high school is still out of his league?

Fix My Fall Teaser 1

Those who know me, know I love a good geeky love story! And Fix My Fall is pure geek heaven! I have fallen head over heels for Spencer and Abby – hell the whole Thompson clan.

Spencer Hill has moved back home to New Hampshire to be closer to his mom and dad and take on a new job at the University in town as an astrophysicist. But after a few months, he’s ready to find his own place instead of living in the basement of his childhood home.
Abby Thompson is surprised when she meets up with her new client. The sexy man staring back at her can’t be the same guy who used to tutor her brother in high school, can he?

Spencer doesn’t know if he can handle being around the girl he had a crush on since High school. She’s always been nice to him, but could they ever be more than just friends.

These friends to lovers stories never get old for me and I absolutely have adored Abby from the start of this series, so her getting a book to herself was GOLDEN. Spencer is swoony and Abby is adorable. I loved every minute of their awkward beginnings. I highly recommend this series. It’s non-angsty, slow-building torturous fun. A great sweet romance.
